Deleting past Jomsocial events - EASY

You are running a Jomsocial community with lots of events? Then you have to handle the issue how to delete past events from your System. In general these events are lacking of interest as soon as they are out of date.

So far, there was no choice, either delete one by one by hand or access the database directly. No other possibilities were given to delete your old events. If this is too time consuming or you don´t have the knowledge of working with databases, the battle was lost.

To change this, we have developed a plugin which does the work for you - fully automated and configurable. With our Jomsocial Event Delete plugin you can specify after how many days the past events should be deleted. So if you want to keep the events from last month – no problem!!

In the version for Joomla 1.7 you can also choose from which category (or categories) the past events should be deleted. E.g. it is possible to delete only the past events from a specified category and leave the events from other categories in your system.

Jomsocial Search plugin 1.7 for Joomla released

Today we released a new version of our popular Jomsocial search plugin.

Beside bugfixes for all knwon issues with Joomla 1.6 / 1.7 this version provides basic Jomsocial privacy suppport, which can configured, as usual, in the plugin settings.

Jomsocial 2.4.1 - Deutsche Sprachdateien aktualisiert

Heute ist mit Jomsocial 2.4.1 das erste Update für die 2.4.x Serie veröffentlicht worden. Die Sprachdateien wurden von mir bereits angepasst und stehen wie gewohnt im Downloadbereich den Mitgliedern zur Verfügung.

Erste Rabattaktion - Deutsche Sprachdateien für Jomsocial 2.4 online

Gestern ist Jomsocial 2.4.0 stable veröffentlicht worden und ich habe auch umgehend die Sprachdateien angepasst, so dass Jomsocial auch mit der neusten Version auf Deutsch genutzt werden kann.

Im letzten Blogeintrag habe ich ja bereits Rabattaktionen angekündigt und nun ist es soweit - mit dem Gutscheincode BOULEVARD gibt es 20% Rabatt auf alle Mitgliedschaften. Der Code ist gültig bis zum 19.11.2011

Communityhosting für Joomla / Joomsocial leicht gemacht

Gerade Einsteiger im Bereich Joomla / Jomsocial haben oft das Problem, dass sie nicht wissen, welche Voraussetzungen ein guter Joomla bzw.
